Shirt Sleeve

Female Shirt Sleeve / One Piece
Upon starting to implement a shirt’s sleeve, you must know the measurements of the total front and back armhole rotation as indicated in the figure =>

Steps of making a pattern for a shirt’s sleeve:

1) Determine

sleeve width through the following law:
Sleeve width = measurement of the total front and back armhole circle – 6 cm
Noting that the value of number 6 shall be changed as needed. By increasing this value the extra length becomes less upon installing and vice versa.
2) For example: total armhole circle measurement = 46 cm
3) Sleeve width = 46 – 6 = 40, i.e. sleeve width = 40 cm
4) Horizontally make a sleeve width line of 40 cm.
5) Divide sleeve width line into four equal parts and mark points (a, b, c, d, e) as indicated in the figure =>
6) From points (b, c, d), make extensions upwards as follows:
Length of extension (D, D1) = length (D, E).
Length of extension (C, C1) = (AE ÷ 3) + 1.
Length of extension (B, B1) = Half (C, C1).
Connect straight lines between points (A, B1, C1, D1, and E). Divide them into halves as indicated in the figure. =>
7) From the dividing points, make 1.5cm extensions upward and downward as indicated in the figure. =>
8) Make the circle of the top of the sleeve using the free hand.
9) Length of sleeve is 63 cm, by making an extension opposite to line C, C1, as indicated in the figure> =>
10) The measurement of sleeve opening shall be decided according to points (F, G). Let it be 13 cm.
11) Connect sidelines of the sleeve (A, F) and (E, G) with a curved line as indicated in the figure. =>
12) By implementing these steps, we would have achieved a shirt’s sleeve.

N.B.: This sleeve is ready to be installed as it includes sewing stitches.
